The La Rose de Manincor 2024 is an Italian rose wine that should be served chilled. The Manincor estate has a long history dating back to 1608, with vineyards located in the mountainous region of South Tyrol in northeastern Italy. They grow a variety of local and international grape varieties on their beautiful Alpine vineyards.
This rose is made from a blend of Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Tempranillo, and Lagrein grapes using the saignee method, where a portion of the grape must is removed after 24 hours of skin contact to create a delightful salmon pink hue and fruit-forward flavor. The wine is then fermented in oak barrels and aged on the lees for added complexity and a creamy texture. It is a light and fresh rose with vibrant acidity, moderate structure, and flavors of bright red berries, cream, and dried herbs.
